This was my first attempt of lightning photography. Although there were constant bursts of light, most of the bolts were behind the clouds. After an hour of waiting, shooing mosquitos off my skin and shielding myself and camera from the downpour, I made a few individual exposures I knew would make a nice composite. I am so thankful I live on such a gorgeous lake where I can experience God’s beauty.
